You can find instructions below on the ways to join a Zoom Meeting. You can join using any Computer, Tablet, Mobile Device, or telephone.

Join from a Computer using the Zoom App

Joining from a computer using the Zoom app is the preferred method of participating. This requires downloading the Zoom application in order to join the meeting. We suggest downloading Zoom prior to the meeting by visiting https://zoom.us/support/download.

You can join from a laptop or desktop computer using the “Join Zoom Meeting” link you were provided.

If you have speakers, microphone, you can join the audio portion of the meeting straight from your computer. When joining this will be the default option. If you desire, and have a webcam, you can turn on your video after joining. Your webcam is turned off by default when joining the meeting.

If you do not have speakers and a microphone you have the ability to dial in for audio. After joining the meeting you will see a prompt asking you to choose an audio conference option. By default you will be on a screen to join using computer audio, simply click on the “Phone Call” tab to be presented with the phone number, meeting ID, and participant ID for joining by phone call.

Tip: When you first join the meeting your microphone will be muted. We request you only unmute when you want to talk and then mute yourself again. You can find the mute/unmute button in the shape of a microphone at the bottom left corner of the Zoom window.

Join from a Computer using a Web Browser

When joining by clicking the provided link, you will be prompted to install the Zoom app. If you are unable to download and install this app you will find a line near the bottom of the page that says “If you cannot download or run the application, join from your browser.” Once you click “join from your browser” you will be prompted to enter your name, after which click Join.

Join by Calling In (Audio Only)

We recognize that while technology is everywhere, not everyone has the ability to join from a Computer, Tablet, or Mobile Device. You have the ability to join by calling into an audio bridge which will allow you to participate in hearing and speaking with everyone that is participating.

You can dial any phone number found under the “Dial by your Location” section found in the information you were provided. Please make sure you use a number in the same country as you are dialing to prevent any international charges on your phone bill. Simply follow the voice prompts and enter the Meeting ID found above.

Due to the popularity of the platform that we are using we have provided several phone numbers throughout the United States, as well as a few in Germany, that will all get you to the same audio bridge. If for any reason a phone number does not work please try the next one in the list.

If you are dialing in from a country other than the US or Germany you can find a local number by clicking the button below.

IMPORTANT: In order to mute & unmute yourself, dial *6 on your keypad.

Tip: When you first join the meeting your microphone will be muted. We request you only unmute when you want to talk and then mute yourself again. Dial *6 on your keypad to mute and unmute yourself in the call.
